A refreshing wine of great finesse and elegance.
In homage to its castle and its unique rose garden, we have selected a plot of vines located in Jau in the far north of the Médoc, ideally located between the ocean and the Gironde. LOUDENNE decided to acquire this 8 ha plot with 7,000 vines / ha with an average age of 20 years to produce this new rosé which we naturally named "le Château Rose"
Blend of Merlot 53% and Cabernet Sauvignon 47%
Produced by direct pressing of whole grape clusters.
Tasting Notes
- Eye: An evocative color, very pale pink, clear and brilliant.
- Nose : aromas of fresh and delicious fruits to which are added amylic notes of English sweets.
- Palate: lively which reveals flavors of raspberry and cherry. We find this very pleasant tangy taste typical of English sweets.
