“THERE IS NOT A GREAT LAND THAT DOES NOT LOOK AT THE RIVER”
Like the greatest wines of the Médoc peninsula, the Château LOUDENNE vineyard benefits from an exceptional terroir: two gravelly ridges directly located on the edge of the Gironde estuary.
50% Cabernet Sauvignon - 50% Merlot.
Aged 100% in barrels.
Wine, Words & Video – J. Williams (2020): 90+/100
Bettane & Desseauve: 16.0/20
Tasting notes
- NOSE: powerful, complex, with notes of black fruits, toast, tobacco but also elegant fresh notes of mint and elderberry.
- EYE: beautiful purple color.
- MOUTH: dense, concentrated and fruity, with a nice tannic structure, fat, and great length.
How and with what to serve it?
Serve at 18°C – 20°C. To decant half an hour before serving.
Accompanies grilled white meats or all red meats grilled or in sauce as well as cheese.
Guard time
It is a wine with both good aging potential for 5 to 10 years and tannins pleasant enough to be enjoyed now.
